According to the Grand Rapids Press, the Red Wings have recalled five players from the Griffins following that team's second-round loss to the Milwaukee Admirals on Wednesday night.
Expected to join the Wings are fowards Justin Abdelkader, Ville Leino and Aaron Downey, goalie Jimmy Howard and defenseman Jakub Kindl.
No word on whether Darren McCarty will join the team as its second-round series with Anaheim moves to games 4 and 5.

Way to tease us guys. I would love to see Leino in the line up. He is a magnet for the puck. It just comes to him and he can score goals. He's not afraid to crash the net and we need that!
